Who we are

This website, makerius.com, is run by Makerius, a digital agency based in Pakistan ("Makerius", "we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact us at makeriusofficial@gmail.com.

What data we collect

Contact form. When you send the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and, if you give them, your company, the service you're interested in, and your message. The form is provided by Wix Forms.
Analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects information about how you use the site, such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. We ask for IP anonymisation.
Cookies. We set one cookie, mk_consent, to remember your analytics choice. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies.
Hosting logs. Our hosting provider, Wix, processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the site.
Booking a call. If you book a call through Calendly, Calendly collects the details you enter under its own privacy policy.

How we use it

To reply to your message and discuss your project.
To understand how the site is used and improve it, only with your consent.
To keep the site secure and working.

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for automated decisions about you.

Legal bases

For visitors in the EU and UK: we process contact form data to take steps at your request before a possible contract, and for our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries. We process analytics data only with your consent. We process hosting and security data for our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

How long we keep it

We keep contact messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any project that follows, and then delete them unless the law requires us to keep them. Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in Google Analytics. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Who we share it with

Wix hosts the website and stores contact form submissions for us.
Google provides Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Calendly handles call bookings, only if you use it.

These providers process data on our behalf or under their own policies. We may also share data if the law requires it.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where this applies to EU or UK data, the providers rely on recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you;
correct data that is wrong;
ask us to delete your data;
restrict or object to how we process it;
receive your data in a portable format;
withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing;
complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, email makeriusofficial@gmail.com. We'll reply without undue delay.

Changing your cookie choice

Use (also in the footer of every page) to accept or reject analytics cookies at any time.

We'll post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
